ENVIRONMENT

Did you know it takes 1000 litres of water to make just 1 litre of Cows Milk?
The Water Footprint website states these facts of how much water is used to make milk, cheese, beef and leather.
1000 litres = 1 litre of milk. 5000 litres = 1kg of cheese.16,000 litres = 1kg of beef. 16,600 litres = 1kg of leather.
So removing meat, dairy and animal products is the best way to help the environment.

Land Clearing.
In the last 20 years, 9 million hectares of land was cleared in Queensland. 93% of that land cleared was for animal agriculture. Land clearing uses a chain and bulldozing method that pulls down healthy trees and destroys our native wildlife.

Save the Planet.
Research has shown that if everyone ate a plant-based diet, it would cut food-related greenhouse gas emissions by 70 per cent and save 8 million human lives by 2050.
